Guide to Hotels at Luton Airport

Luton has a number of hotels around the airport.

  • Connected to the Terminal
  • Connected via DART Shuttle Train
  • Accessible by Walking, Public Bus or Taxi

Connected to the Terminal

Surprisingly for an airport of its size, Luton actually has no hotels that are connected to the terminal, or located right next to it.

Connected via DART Shuttle Train

The DART shuttle train runs 24/7 between the train station and the airport, for £4.90 per person. It takes four minutes. There is one hotel located at the train station, right by the DART terminal:

Hampton by Hilton London Luton Airport – Arguably the easiest hotel to access from Luton airport, due its location by the train station DART terminal. If you’re arriving or departing by train anyway, this is a perfect location.

Accessible by Walking, Public Bus or Taxi

There are four hotels located around a 10 minute walk from the terminal. If you’re travelling light, the walk is fairly easy along a footpath by the road, but if you’ve got luggage then you may find it easier to take a short taxi or the public buses.

Bus ‘A’ leaves from Luton airport bay J every 10-30 minutes (depending on time of day), and bus 100 leaves around every 30 minutes from bay H. Alight at the stop called ‘Holiday Inn’ for the Holiday Inns and ibis, or the stop called ‘Courtyard Marriot’ for the Marriot.

Holiday Inn Express London – Luton Airport – A good mid-range option with the shortest walk to the airport.

Holiday Inn London – Luton Airport – Very similar to the Express, potentially slightly larger rooms.

ibis London Luton Airport – Located between the holiday inns, another mid-range option.

Courtyard by Marriot Luton Airport – A slightly more expensive hotel, located the furthest from the terminal.

Want to travel into London before or after your hotel stay? This guide shows you exactly how to do it.
