Guide to Hotels at Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh has a number of hotels in and around the airport. It only has one terminal, so the on-site hotels are accessible to all travellers, regardless of airline or destination.

  • Connected to the Terminal
  • Short Walk from the Terminal
  • Shuttle Bus Available
  • Accessible via Tram
  • Other Options (Drive / Taxi)

Connected to the Terminal

Unusually, Edinburgh Airport has no hotels directly connected to the terminal buildings.

Short Walk from the Terminal

Three hotels are easily walkable from the terminal building, in 5 to 10 minutes. The walk is flat, on the main road, and has footpaths.

Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport (Tripadvisor) – One of Hilton’s cheaper brands.

Moxy Edinburgh Airport (Tripadvisor) – A mid-range hotel.

DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport (Tripadvisor) – Another Hilton property.

Shuttle Bus Available

These hotels are near to the airport and provide a shuttle bus:

Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport by IHG (Tripadvisor) – The shuttle bus picks up from bus stand H and costs £2.50 for a return trip. It’s also possible to walk to the hotel in 10-15 minutes.

Accessible via Tram

These hotels can be easily accessed on the tram in 5-10 minutes, although this costs £7.50 per adult:

ibis budget Edinburgh Park (Tripadvisor)

Delta Hotels Edinburgh (Tripadvisor)

Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (Airport) (Tripadvisor)

Novotel Edinburgh Park (Tripadvisor)

Other Options (Drive / Taxi)

You’ll need to make your own way to these budget hotels, via taxi or your own car:

Premier Inn Edinburgh Airport (M9, Jct1) (Tripadvisor)

Travelodge Edinburgh Airport Ratho Station (Tripadvisor)
